ONTARIO SALES REPRESENTATIVECompany DescriptionFinica Food Specialties Ltd. has been importing and distributing specialty artisan cheese and gourmet food items from around the world since 1968. Our success has been built around the specialty cheese market, but we have since expanded to include cheeses from Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Wales, and the United States. Our customer base includes Retail Chains and Independents and Foodservice, and our Distribution network is made up of Specialty Cheese and Food Distributors across Canada. The company is a sister company of Atalanta Corporation, a leading and driving force in the food import business.Role DescriptionThe Ontario Sales Representative is a full-time hybrid role located in Mississauga, ON. Key Responsibilities Managing and growing Finica's portfolio in independent retail with key focus on Eataly & food service trade (direct & via distributors) . Build relationships with customers and distributor sales team to promote products or services, negotiate sales prices, contact & visit customers throughout the sales process and answer any questions customers have about the products. Manage the current roster and new opportunities with the Finica global portfolio of products. Growing the HMR category at all applicable accounts – expanding commissary opportunities where applicable.Create and Manage the Sales Budget, Forecasting, Gross Profit, P/L, EBIT, Pricing & Retail Distributor Retails.Conduct monthly updates with customer channels (Retail & Food Service) and quarterly updates with senior customer personnel so that Monthly Sales Targets are being met. Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales review with Finica leadership team.Qualifications3 years sales experiences- Food industry experience considered a strong asset. Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsKnowledge of the Ontario market is required.Experience creating and managing the Budget, Gross Profit, P/L, EBIT, PricingAbility to analyze market trends and recommend product enhancementsExcellent communication and presentation skills
