Job Type: Full-time 8 hours per day/40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Must be able to work in-person at the Vancouver office Salary: $25-35, commensurate with experience Benefits: Extended healthcare benefits Paid time off Additional holidays Key Responsibilities: • General office administration and organization • Greet and welcome guests and provide general administrative support to the office • Event organization • Environmental health and safety • Coordinate appointments and schedule and help the office run smoothly • Prepare and curate documents and provide reliable support for office operations by creating procedures and communicating them company-wide • Point person for maintenance and communication with external contacts for office needs • Assistance with preparation and submission of technical documents and proposals • Invoicing • Document control support We Are Looking For: We are looking for enthusiastic, personable and experienced individual who is adaptable to different situations. You should be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with other members of the team and people who are outside of the company to effectively complete projects. You must be agile and able to navigate change and reorganizing priorities without issues. Keeping the office and the staff administrative demands in a timely and organized manner is the top responsibility. As the Office Manager you will be responsible for administrative tasks such as ordering products for the office and welcoming guests, as well as assisting with project invoices and helping the team with administrative, technical and other documents as necessary. You will be required to participate, plan and assist with hosting various trainings and events. About You: You are a self-starter, driven and detail-oriented individual experienced in office administration, communications, technical writing, event planning and/or a combination of relevant experiences. Post-secondary degree in administration, communication, or a related field. Experience in a consulting/engineering industry/office is considered a strong asset You are right for this role if you are open to learning new skills and developing new credentials. Coming into work with an open mind and being flexible. You must be flexible and open to a fast paced growing environment. Different opportunities will arise throughout your work with CHARTER, and you must be willing to accept the challenges that come along with it.Experience in a consulting/engineering environment is considered an asset.
