College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Tasks

Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures

Delegate work to office support staff

Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met

Carry out administrative activities of establishment Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation

Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence

Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents Schedule and confirm appointments

Compile data, statistics and other information Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences

Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information

Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
