Position Title: Project Manager, NeXT Autonomous Digital Mine Purpose: We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to help us grow our business through successful leadership in executing projects with technical scope relating to automation, instrumentation, PLC, robotics, networks, and other digital services to mines. As a member of the Customer Solutions Team, t he successful candidate will be comfortable discussing technical content with clients and driving successful outcomes with technical subject matter experts. Responsibilities: Execution of project scope to a defined budget and schedule, manages and documents change orders seeking customer approval prior to changes. Assures that customer is satisfied with the contracted deliverables. Is accountable for office and site safety for the project team. Recommends and selects the project team. Manages mobilization to plan. Assures all team members have the appropriate tools and equipment. Identifies and provides any specialized knowledge and training for the project team. Evaluates team member performance. What you will bring Technical and Industry Experience: Experience managing projects and/or experience deploying complex Digital solutions in an industrial environment. Proven performance leading technical work as a Project Manager. Demonstrated capabilities to build relationships with customers and other stakeholders. Strong commercial acumen and experience in various commercial contracting models/risk profiles (Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc.) Proven experience in Waterfall and Agile project management Proficient in MS Office applications (Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint) Excellent overall understanding of the impact of Industry 4.0 technology Experience managing a portfolio of projects and working with clients for pull through work. Motivational leadership style and strong communication skills with ability to develop high performance culture. Ability to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks effectively through positive decision making. Ability to manage project change effectively with project team and clients. Capable of working with a diverse global project team working in an office and remotely. Experience working in Mining, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, LNG and Renewables. Available for travel to site as required. May be required to travel within or outside of Canada to deliver projects. Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Required: A diploma in a related field such as Engineering, Automation, Mining, Digital Technology, Operational Technology or Data Science.
