ACCM is the only English-speaking community organization that offers prevention and support services to people living with or affected by HIV and/or hepatitis C in Quebec. We work in collaboration with our many communities to build a compassionate and caring response to HIV and hepatitis C and do education work that equips people with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions around their sexual health. (Please note that ACCM refers to clients of our services as Members)The main objective of the Newcomers Support Program Coordinator is to provide support, information, and resources to migrants, refugees, and newcomers living with and/or affected by HIV and Hepatitis C in order to facilitate their settlement process in Montreal and their access to health care. The Coordinator is also responsible for implementing programs that prevent HIV and hep C transmission and reduce stigma in the larger newcomers’ communities, break isolation amongst migrants living with HIV, and promote their inclusion at ACCM. The Coordinator reports to and is evaluated by the Support Services Department Manager.Salary: $21.37 per hour, 32h per week#J-18808-Ljbffr
