Newcastle Restaurant is seeking a F/T Chef

Position Info:

1. Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
2. Wage: $30.00~$33.00/hour (depending on experience)
3. Number of Positions: 2

Job Duties:

1. Organize and direct food preparation and cooking operations
2. Prepare and cook full meals or specialty dishes
3. Develop menus and ensure food quality standards are upheld
4. Assess supply needs and calculate costs for food and labor
5. Supervise the activities of kitchen staff
6. Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
7. May assist in recruiting and hiring kitchen staff
8. May handle the acquisition and maintenance of kitchen equipment

Job requirements:

1. Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
2. Education: Completion of secondary school is required
