Newcastle Restaurant is seeking a F/T Chef
Position Info:
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $30.00~$33.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Number of Positions: 2
Job Duties:
- Organize and direct food preparation and cooking operations
- Prepare and cook full meals or specialty dishes
- Develop menus and ensure food quality standards are upheld
- Assess supply needs and calculate costs for food and labor
- Supervise the activities of kitchen staff
- Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- May assist in recruiting and hiring kitchen staff
- May handle the acquisition and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
