They have a new job open for New Recipe Development, Replenishment & Supplier Contracts Manager/ Culinary Specialist / Chef to lead their New Recipe Development & Supply Chain initiatives to new product development , supplier selection, inventory, and commercialization of the food recipe. This a hybrid work arrangement for a creative chef to experiment and create signature dishes/ recipes from their home / office lab location, test in offices ( Mississauga- Burlington- Hamilton area) and be fully responsible for selection & performance management of food service suppliers. Candidates experienced with Asian cuisine / Fusion Pan Asia, Japanese, Asian and similar cuisines with experience in Quick Serve preferred. New Recipe Development, Replenishment & Supplier Contracts Manager -Culinary Specialist / Chefwill be responsible for working with existing ingredients and create new recipe within the food assembly quick serve format and also be the point of contact for all supplier relationships. You will oversee selection of suppliers, create score cards for their performance management, negotiate pricing , quality , ensure compliance as per Health Canada requirements. You will oversee commercialization of the recipe, inventory, raw materials requirement and work with suppliers for replenishment. You will create SOPs and Best Practices for optimal ingredient usage, and improve existing processes towards Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety and compliance.New Recipe Development, Replenishment & Supplier Contracts Manager /Culinary Specialist - Chef will have 5-6 years’ experience as in product development and minimum 3-4 years in Supply Chain, Contract management, pricing, Negotiation, Replenishment within food assembly, quick serve ( MUST have ) Asian / pan Asian/ fusion cuisine. Hands on experience of onboarding new suppliers, compliance, performance management is a MUST. Strong ingredients replenishment, stock , inventory , supply chain experience is a MUST. Above average Excel skills , ability to work with suppliers within fast food, quick serve business highly preferred. Ability to work on kitchen replenishment, ingredients quantities , commercialization is a MUST. Food GMP, HACCP (MUST have).
