What We Need
Our Information Technology department is looking for a Network Engineering Intern. We need bilingual (Mandarin/English) individuals who possess a keen sense of logic, great communication skills and the ability to quickly learn complex concepts and technologies.
This is a 40 hour per week M-F internship that can be ON-SITE in Burlington, MA or Remote. Internship starts ASAP and is approximately 8 months. This is an internship that has the potential to convert to a full-time position at the end of the internship.
What You’ll Do
Enhance and expand our demo and instant trial lab environment by identifying, prioritizing, and building in new uses cases and technologies to demonstrate the value of NetBrain to prospects.
Assist our pre-sales engineering teams in building proof of concept (POC) scenarios for prospective customers
Work cross-functionally and communicate the capabilities of NetBrain’slab environments to marketing, pre-sales engineering, and prospects.
Participate in requirement discussions, analyze test requirements, build test lab.
Who You Are
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a BS or MS program in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
CCNA or equivalent Network Certifications required
Knowledge of major vendor’s router and switch Load Balancers and Firewalls’ configurations
Networking knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS
Experience with virtual environment setup(EVE, GNS3)
Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
Interest in working with internal and external teams.
Proven ability to quickly learn new trending technologies and new product types
Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
Strong Plus to work onsite in Burlington office as needed.
