Dilawri Group in Ontario is looking for an experienced Network Analyst to join the National Team at our Regional Head Office at 401 & Dixie Road, in Mississauga.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Network & Security, the position is responsible for all aspects of the Network and Security of each Dealership at Dilawri Group of Companies. Occasional travel is required to dealerships that require onsite work. This is NOT a remote role. 

Responsibilities:

Attend remote/on-site for all maintenance, repair, replacement, upgrades, configurations, testing, training and support for the following general areas:

Tasks Related to Network

Hardware Systems:

• Select, purchase, install, maintain, support, upgrade, repair, test, replace, relocate, rewire, and configure all network infrastructure within the dealer group

• Maintain careful and accurate billing records for all purchases and submit to supervisor

• Maintain careful and accurate inventory lists of all group equipment and locations of all equipment and submit to supervisor

• Create and Maintain an accurate network diagram of all equipment at each location and submit to supervisor

Software Systems:

• Install, upgrade and maintain all firmware and security subscriptions on network equipment

• Support and maintain the connectivity of DCS systems of all dealers in coordination with DMS vendors; CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds

Telephone Network Systems:

• Troubleshoot and support all telephone network systems

• Work with Regional Controller on any major changes or upgrades to the telephone network system

• Work with all telephone companies on installations, repair, maintenance and billing as required

Video Security:

• Maintain and support all video security and surveillance systems connectivity whether video or PC based

New Technology:

• Keep the Group up-to-date on all new technology as it applies to our operations (Trade Shows, Industry Conferences, etc.)

Training:

• Train all staff on usage of hardware and software, as required

• Keep up-to-date with accreditations and industry training requirements

IPS:

• Procure and advise appropriate connection size of internet connection at all locations

• Ensure backup connections are properly setup at each site

• Work with ISP when outage to ensure connectivity is restored at all sites

Domain Name Server (DNS):

• Secure, purchase and maintain all domain names

• Make sure sites are subscribed to all major search engines

• Plan any server changes to ensure that no interruption to service is experienced

• Manage the billing and correspondence with all servers and service providers

• Maintain careful and accurate records of all transactions with vendors, service providers and servers

Security:

• Set-up employee usage software and firewalls to contain unwanted or fraudulent Internet usage

• Ensure security protocols are met with routing

Connectivity:

• Ensure all VPN tunnels are created properly and with the most secure protocols

• Ensure maximum uptime of all network and ISP connections

• Ensure Azure network is connected to all locations

• Ensure all networks are properly configured with proper security and routing

Demark/Computer Rooms:

• Ensure all Demark/Computer rooms in all locations are tidy with old and decommissioned equipment removed and properly disposed of

• Maintain inventory of network equipment and connections at each location

E-commerce:

• Support department managers in all business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) communications through the Internet or email

• Maintain professional appearance at all times

• Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions

• 2nd and 3rd Level support of help desk calls related to network

Qualifications:

• University Degree or College Diploma in IT field, or equivalent experience

• Strong technical and trouble shooting skills

• One (1) year experience deskside support service; installing and trouble shooting

• One (1) year experience as a field specialist

• Creativity and problem-solving

• Effective written and oral communication skills

• Organizational ability and attention to detail

• Minimum three (3) years in a technical service role

• Valid Driver’s License for province of employ and access to a reliable vehicle

• Industry related training and certification as required
