You are a team player; an excellent communicator and you are always positive and solution oriented.The MissionAs the national communications + Influence Manageryou will help develop, plan, and implement PR and earned social media strategies to promote and increase Moët Hennessy brand awareness and desirability, ensuring high qualitative positioning in the Canadian media landscape and growing our presence on social media platforms. You will execute Moët Hennessy internal and external communication strategies, acting as a partner to our PR agency. The role requires senior connection to a broader network, internally (with Maisons, brand teams and the regional marketing team) and externally nationally (journalists, influencers, key opinion leaders, etc.).As part of the National marketing & communications team, you will support the National Brand Managers in building and implementing effective communications strategies to be rolled out from an earned media perspective. You will also lead internal communication initiatives and collaborate with the Leadership Team to create a strong People first culture.This role reports to the Marketing and Communication Director for Moët Hennessy in Canada.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEarned media(With the support from our PR agency)Work in tandem with the Brand Teams to develop and implement annual communications plan and establish associated KPIsManage Maison stakeholders by conveying the communications plan for each brandLead relationship with PR Agency to achieve substantial growth in coverage (qualitative and quantitative)Build strong media relationshipsManage and coordinate press trips, tastings and wider brand influence and media eventsLead weekly Status meetingsEnsure tracking of weekly/monthly monitoring reports by the agencyInfluence(With the support from our PR agency)Demonstrate a clear opinion on influencer strategyBuild a network of industry and influential contactsBuild strategicFriends of BrandsprogramsCreate local content opportunities with regional and national marketing teamsLiaise with Maison Influence team on Influence opportunitiesInfluencer Management(Lead by our agency)Ideation and mailer developmentContract negotiations and writingMonthly management of ad hoc requestsTracking and reporting via digital tracking platformKPIs achievementQualifications, Skills, & Experience RequiredEducation:Bachelor of Communication or marketing degree or higher, or 5 or more years job experience relevant to luxury goods.Be able to travel frequently (domestic and international).Valid travel documents are mandatory.LanguagesFluent in French and EnglishProfessional experience & know-how:Five years of communications & PR experience minimum - ideally in luxury/culture/premium wines & spiritsProfessionally connected with strong ‘black book’Media savvy – demonstrate a clear understanding of the rapidly changing media and digital environmentFully proficient in all aspects of communications and PRGreat communicator and motivator to achieve collaborative successPersonal & interpersonal skillsBe a collaborative team player who is happy leading with initiative and rising to potential opportunitiesDemonstrate a creative mindsetOutstanding communication skills both verbal and written in both French and EnglishTechnical & Management skills:Ability to develop, implement and evaluate communication plansExperience in pitching and briefing media contactsAbility to manage external and internal stakeholdersDevelop technical knowledge of wines and spiritsBenefits:Competitive salary plus performance bonus commensurate with performance, experience.The above information is representative of the work performed in this position; however, it is not all-inclusive.The omission of a specific duty or responsibility does not exclude it from the position if the work is similar or related to the essential duties and responsibilities.Join our team and contribute to the success of our renowned brands!Charton Hobbs is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
