MissionAs a Murex Consultant, you will play a crucial role in various stages of the consulting process. Your responsibilities will encompass problem definition, solution proposal, refinement, development, configuration, and deployment of comprehensive solutions.Day-to-day responsibilitiesCollaborate on functional configurations, validations, and tests to deploy solutions in the Murex software, covering various aspects such as static data, market data, transaction lifecycle, workflows, deliverables, simulation, visualizers, eTrade Pad, etc.Design and implement workflows in Murex in response to business needs identified by different sectors (Front, Middle, Back Office).Develop scripts to extend Murex functionalities, especially in areas of control and integration.Potentially contribute to modifying feeders, filters, reports, and dynamic tables to meet all reporting requirements.Collaborate with architects (functional, security, technological) and designers to define appropriate solutions. Perform unit tests and integration tests, and assist users during acceptance testing. Act as a reference for users to identify and resolve ongoing issues. Support users during the implementation of solutions. Provide level 2 functional support and support for Murex's overnight production processing on a rotating basis.Contribute to the sign-off process of the test/ go-live documents for patch upgrade. Take on any other tasks assigned by management. EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:Significant experience working in a relevant field. University degree in computer science or finance. Working experience of at least 5 years in portfolio management or brokerage sector. Relevant experience of at least 5 years with Murex. Practical experience in developing Murex workflows, including proficiency in technologies such as XML, XSL, XPath, etc. Proficiency in Unix environment, particularly in shell scripting and Python languages. Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of the Murex data model.In-depth knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and spot products.Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
