The Deal Centre Lending Specialist role is a key member of our Deal Centre team that is responsible for and manages a number of key internal tools that help mortgage brokers from coast to coast successfully place mortgage applications with an array of different mortgage lenders.The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:Knows all the lenders in the mortgage broker and the policies in great detailExpertise in alternative, private and construction financing would be an assetBe able to provide administrative services such as corporate searches, title pulls, tax requests, etc…Strong understanding of computers, technology and various web based platformsIs incredibly detail orientated and able to work with large amounts of data and summarize it into smaller and easier to manage piecesPossess a self starter mentality and work ethicAble to handle administrative duties in an organized, efficient and accurate mannerMortgage licensing in BC, Alberta or Ontario are requiredA team player with strong interpersonal skillsWilling to research mortgage related topics and present in a concise mannerAble to communicate clearly and provide effective training to mortgage brokers on systems and an array of different topics and conceptsHelp new and experienced brokers place deals with lendersHandle all underwriting and lender communication for high producing brokersCapable of working directly with mortgage clients, including making outbound calls, to secure mortgage financing solutionsCompensationCompetitive base salaryBonus opportunityCommission on personal mortgage referralsBenefitsPaid vacation
