The Deal Centre Lending Specialist role is a key member of our Deal Centre team that is responsible for and manages a number of key internal tools that help mortgage brokers from coast to coast successfully place mortgage applications with an array of different mortgage lenders. The ideal candidate would have the following attributes: Knows all the lenders in the mortgage broker and the policies in great detail Expertise in alternative, private and construction financing would be an asset Be able to provide administrative services such as corporate searches, title pulls, tax requests, etc… Strong understanding of computers, technology and various web based platforms Is incredibly detail orientated and able to work with large amounts of data and summarize it into smaller and easier to manage pieces Possess a self starter mentality and work ethic Able to handle administrative duties in an organized, efficient and accurate manner Mortgage licensing in BC, Alberta or Ontario are required A team player with strong interpersonal skills Willing to research mortgage related topics and present in a concise manner Able to communicate clearly and provide effective training to mortgage brokers on systems and an array of different topics and concepts Help new and experienced brokers place deals with lenders Handle all underwriting and lender communication for high producing brokers Capable of working directly with mortgage clients, including making outbound calls, to secure mortgage financing solutions Compensation Competitive base salary Bonus opportunity Commission on personal mortgage referrals Benefits Paid vacation
