The Opportunity: Secure Capital MIC is in its 17 th year of operation and the selected incumbent will have the opportunity to be a part of our tremendous growth and continued success. Purpose of Job : The primary purpose of this position is to effectively and efficiently collect and review residential mortgage documentation throughout the sales cycle while providing exceptional service to key stakeholders while minimizing errors and mistakes. Responsibilities include: • Follow-up with mortgage agents/brokers for outstanding documents and to ensure each document is reviewed and accurate • Review and verify loan documents including income, credit, appraisal, and other necessary documentation • Incumbent will be responsible in pushing the deal along the process from underwriting to funding • Document activities related to the sales cycle using CRM, Monday.com • Comfortable flagging issues, and asking questions on discrepancies • Ability to prioritize and multitask deal flow and pipeline • Summarize key pieces of information on appraisals and bank statements The ideal candidate: • Minimum 1-2 years mortgage industry or financial services experience • Superior attention to detail and ability to multitask • Ability to build relationships with customers • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – both written & oral • Professional corporate manner • Ability to work within a team environment and independently • Bi-lingual in French is an asset We offer a competitive compensation & employee benefits plan We thank all applicants for their interest; however only those individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.
