Homewise is adding New and Experience Mortgage Agents/Brokers (Commissioned) to join our sales team At Homewise, we are changing the face of mortgages in Canada with a modern digital mortgage experience. We have a robust training program and personal support coming down from our VP, Mortgage Sales. With a personalized CRM to make sure to keep track of your leads/deals. Leading technology with our online application platform to help you assess your clients a quick and easy manner.What we are looking for: Someone who is sales-focused and advice oriented. This is a role where you will be getting leads and each client is a potential mortgage and referral, so we are looking for Advisors who will work to get the sale, while providing amazing advice to create a long-term client. You are part of our governance first line of defense in driving compliance to Homewise Policies and Procedures. You are motivated and a self-starter. You must work well under tight deadlines and maintain a high level of organization, while balancing multiple tasks. Attention to detail is key, and our platform needs tech-savvy people, comfortable with paperless, fully digital work. You are obsessed with Customer experience and always willing to deliver the best service. You are always there for our Homewise Customers! Responsibilities:Taking inbound leads & making outbound calls, online, by phone, or in person and converting them to closed mortgage applications (you will receive an average of 2-3 leads per day)Driving your own self sourced mortgage clients Ensure a smooth mortgage application process for clients, provide insight and thought to continuously improve the customer experience, handling customer complaints, should they ariseSubmit to Lawyers and LendersEnsure all lender conditions are met prior to closing to the closing dateData entry into Filogix Expert and in the Homewise Relationship Manager, and other systems of our digital platform.Maintaining your Certified Mortgage Agent designation (a must) based on your province of residence Requirements:Excellent digital environment skills. We mean by that you are very good with computers and office software packages (by the way, let us know if you are a touch typist). You need to know Filogix ExpertMortgage underwriting (asset)Mortgage sales experienceSelf-motivatedAnalytical: You can break down complex situation and provide solutionsResourceful: Not to be a know it all but you will get the answersProactive: You enjoy being busy and productive throughout the day as this is a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude: We have a great team culture and so the candidate must be of this same mindset Experience: Mortgage Sales Agent/Advisor: 1 year (preferred) Schedule:Full Time Perks: Remote with some in-personBeing part of a growing team with strong career progression opportunities Strong training Compensation: Percentage split will be provided with offer but this is a commissioned role with no base salary
