Project Manager – IT Production Americas PMO WHO WE ARE As the founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, Quanteam is a consulting firm specializing in the fields of Banking, Finance, and Financial Services. We are hiring a Project Manager (IT Production) to work with one of our clients based in Montreal. Mission The IT Production department serves as a cross-functional unit responsible for supplying core technologies, ensuring production security, and offering application support to all sectors of the bank operating in the Americas. Meanwhile, the Project Management team is tasked with guaranteeing the successful execution of IT Production Americas projects. These projects are aimed at supporting various business objectives, including site expansions, datacenter migrations, compliance with regulatory and security standards, and the adoption of new technologies. Responsabilities The Project Manager holds the responsibility for ensuring the successful completion of IT Production Americas projects within their designated scope. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, requiring close cooperation with stakeholders across the region as well as in Europe (Central) to achieve targeted objectives. Key qualifications for this role include: Proficiency in project management, strong communication and organizational abilities, and familiarity with IT services provided by AMER IT Production. A solid technical background encompassing knowledge of various technologies, operational principles, security prerequisites, and regulatory constraints pertinent to bank infrastructure. Close partnership with IT Production teams and transversal functions teams, among other organizations, is essential. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Establishing project structures within their scope, in alignment with PMO team processes. Ensuring that project objectives are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders, committed to, and managed. Coordinating stakeholders across different organizations and geographical locations. Managing the budget for projects within their scope. Reporting progress and escalating issues as necessary, following relevant PMO processes. ProfileSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: Over 10 years of experience in project management. Expert proficiency in MS Office products. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with adeptness in delivering informative progress reports, proposals, and presentations. Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to cultivate strong working relationships to effectively execute and conclude programs and projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling anticipation and swift resolution of issues. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Capability to comprehend and translate complex technologies. Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with end users, technical teams, and senior management. Ability to handle challenging individuals with respect and professionalism. Adaptability to rapid changes in circumstances. Self-reliance and initiative in work approach. Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or related field and/or sufficient professional work experience in similar position.
