We are hiring a DevOps Production Support Engineer to work with one of our clients based in Montreal. Mission The team offers platforms for creating digital services related to DevOps, environment management, and AI. These offerings encompass DevOps pipeline toolsets, environment management solutions, and data protection services. Their responsibilities involve supporting and delivering projects on these platforms, as well as assisting new customers with onboarding.Responsibilitiesthe importance of ensuring production readiness and collaborating closely with teams to comprehend user needs.L1/L2 support globally for users on the DevOps platform.the operational integrity of the production DevOps platform around the clock.strategies for monitoring and managing capacity effectively.to a prioritized task list, consistently updating progress to ensure the primary focus remains on target solutions.phased delivery methods to ensure adherence to specified requirements and timelines.new releases and patches across the platform.to the identification of process efficiencies and their automation.test automated processes to ensure resilience and alignment with requirements.constructive feedback to management and suggest solutions for performance, capacity, and design challenges.designs and architectures comprehensively, and distributes meeting minutes and action items.ProfileSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:System – Linux Certification or Deep Knowledge in Linux Infrastructure like Red Hat, UbuntuContainers - exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.Scripting - strong skills in Ansible, desirable skills in Python.Security - Knowledge of and API interaction with CyberArk or Vault.Databases - exposure to or skills in SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL DBs.Understanding of application lifecycle and Agile methodology.Good task management, prioritization, and risk management.Appreciation of production processes, including change and release management, incident, and problem management.ITIL4 FoundationStrong problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal skills and team player. Ability to consider multiple ideas and work to agree on best fit solution. Client focused. Attention to details. Strong aptitude and interest in technology. High energy level coupled with a desire to take on responsibility. Able to multi-task.EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or related field and/or sufficient professional work experience in a similar position.
