Reefer Sales and Service Position: Mobile Refrigeration Technician - Moncton, New BrunswickLocation: Moncton, NB (Mobile Position)Reports into: Mobile Service Manager and/or designate About The Role:Over the past 30+ years, Reefer Sales has become the leading provider of temperature-managed transportation hardware, equipment, service, and support across North America. We are currently looking for a Mobile Refrigeration Technician to grow in our Service department at the Atlantic Carrier location in Moncton, New Brunswick.About You:You are a highly driven and motivated individual with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment, logistics, transportation and culture, with the objective of delivering premium customer service experience in an established market presence that reflects our company’s core values: Family, Loyalty, Integrity and Quality.You possess exemplary interpersonal skills, pride yourself on your ability to provide an exceptional customer experience and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.Job Duties:Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain truck and trailer refrigeration and genset/container equipment.Genset installs and removals from containers, and genset builds.Maintain and manage assigned inventory.Submit service calls daily via email in an organized fashion.Read wiring diagrams.Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes and pre-trips.Repair and/or remove and replace failed parts and components. Soldering and welding may be required for certain repairs. to transportation equipment based on skillset and experience.Refrigeration Repairs – leak testing and the handling of refrigerant.On-Call Rotation.Qualifications:HVAC knowledge for equipment maintenance.Small diesel engine experience is an asset.Electrical/mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair components.Training provided.Basic computer skills for diagnostics and the ability to use Microsoft Outlook.Able to work in non-climate-controlled environment.Evening/weekend work is required with overtime opportunities.Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 25lbs/12kgs, and frequently lift and or move up to 50lbs / 23kgs.Must have a "go getter" attitude and strong customer service skills.Tools with tool storage.Ozone Depletion Certificate is considered an asset.BENEFITS OF CHOOSING US:Tool AllowanceSafety Boot AllowanceLong term disability and AD&DMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance PackageRRSP Matching ProgramEmployee assistance programCompany apparel and winter gearLife insuranceOpportunities for advancementCompetitive hourly pay, overtime pay, on-call premium.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:8.5 hour shiftsHolidaysMonday to FridayOn-call evenings, overtime and weekend availability as required/needed.License/Certification:Must have a VALID Canadian driver's license, and maintain a good driver's abstract to remain insurable.This role includes competitive compensation and eligible benefits (medical, dental, vision) after completing your probationary period of (3) months of active employment.Reefer Sales & Service is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
