Position Overview:Our client, a dynamic startup in the corporate wellness sector located in Sudbury, Ontario, is seeking a (Senior) Mobile Developer to spearhead the redevelopment of their product. In this role, you will be the first mobile engineer responsible for bringing their web platform over to iOS and Android platforms using Swift and Kotlin, respectively. The plan is to grow the team aggressively so your opportunities for growth will be massive! Key Responsibilities:Lead mobile development efforts for iOS and Android platforms, focusing on coding best practices and ensuring seamless integration with backend systems. Design and build complex mobile applications, prioritizing user experience, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with the development team to implement backend systems and APIs necessary for mobile application functionality.Manage cloud infrastructure, including AWS or Azure, to ensure the reliability and scalability of mobile applications. Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to implement features and enhancements in alignment with business objectives. Qualifications:Proven experience designing and building mobile applications for iOS using Swift and Android using Kotlin. Experience with development best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for product innovation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and drive results. Nice to have:Interest in health and fitnessBachelor's in Computer Science or a related fieldKnowledge of machine learning concepts and techniques. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS or Azure.
