Job Description

As a key team member in our cloud technical department, you will be responsible for all critical aspects of managing, deploying best practices for Blair Technology Solutions new customers as well as any existing clients. You will have a strong understanding of Microsoft O365 and deployment of IAAS in MS-Azure. You will have an understanding of key security protocols and networking where necessary You will play an integral role for Microsoft Cloud (Azure/M O365) and Managed Service Practices be successful. You will also stay ahead of industry trends, enhance skills and certifications when required or necessary.

Job Responsibilities

Pre-Sales:

· Represent our company’s products and services (specifically Microsoft Azure/M O365 and Managed Services), starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding of our solution portfolio.

· Technically present our solutions and position our company as the category and industry leader.

· Collaborate in building technical content for our solution portfolio.

· Develop and write Blair Technology Statements of Work when needed.

Post-Sales:

· Configure and deploy MS-Azure , M O365, Intunes, SharePoint and Teams.

· Configure Microsoft Azure workloads, configure networking and security settings MS-Azure, if required.

· Migrate on-premise Exchange to M365 with minimum supervision.

· Collaborate in deploying upgrades to or add to existing virtualization technology (Hyper-V and VMWARE).

· Has had exposure to monitoring technology for server, cloud, and network.

· Will be able to resolve basic networking configuration, security and issues related to firewalls, switches, and routers.

· Configure Microsoft Azure workloads, configure networking and security settings MS-Azure,

if required.

· Knowledge of on-premise server technology and deployment.

Level 2/3:

· Diagnose and remediate issues escalated up from our Blair Technology NOC.

· Train our NOC to better troubleshoot and remediate where necessary.

· Be able to serve as “on-call” on a rotational basis.

Job Requirements

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills

· Personal integrity

· Self-motived and team player

· 5+ years’ experience in an IT services role

· Preferred 2+ years experience of working in a service provider/reseller environment and within defined formal project methodologies.

· Intermediate or senior knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Intunes, SCCM, M O365, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory as well as Networking

· Strong understanding of virtualization technology (Hyper-V and VMWARE)

· Configuration and maintenance knowledge of private and public clouds

· Current accreditations and certifications in MS-Azure, and related Microsoft certifications.

· Understands monitoring solutions.

· Understands patching policies and deployment of patching policies.

· Strong understanding of back up and technologies such as Veeam, Commvault etc.

· Required to travel to customer sites in GTA if needed.

· Knowledge of documentation and be able to flowchart the installation process and provide documentation of each configured item and each step.

· Ability to interpret architectural diagrams.

· Hardware skills would be an asset.
