Job Title: Member Service Representative (MSR)
Job Status: Regular Part-Time – One (1) Vacancy
Primary Location: Limeridge Branch

Job Purpose & Summary
As an MSR you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service on the front-line and assisting our members with their financial needs. Your ability to be a self-starter, a proactive approach and commitment to excellence will be key to your success. The MSR plays a critical role in achieving the goal of the organization by building strong and long-lasting member relations through providing members with exceptional services.
Skill Requirements
Required Experience:
  • 1 year of cash-handling experience in a retail environment;
  • 1 year of work experience in a financial services sales’ environment preferred;
  • Strong technical and computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Prior banking/credit union experience preferred;
  • Must be bondable.
What you’d be doing:
  • Responsible for opening and closing accounts, processing member’s bill payments, and setting up online banking services;
  • Responsible for developing a working knowledge of products and services and making appropriate referrals to our Financial Service Representatives or Wealth team;
  • Complete “Know Your Member” updates and validate information in our banking system;
  • Build member relationships to better understand their needs while offering products/services to improve their financial well being;
  • Offering appropriate solutions via phone, email, and in person while also communicating new products/services;
  • Accurately complete member transactions, personalized cheque orders and review and correcting member banking errors accordingly;
