Our Fabrication client is hiring for a Solidworks Mechanical Designer/Drafter in Calgary, AB. This role is full time and permanent. As a Solidworks Mechanical Designer/Drafter, you are responsible for the preparation and checking of layouts, arrangements and detailed fabrication drawings. Support drafting team, project managers, project engineers, and production to develop drawings and provide technical support, during the fabrication process. Ensure the project scope, specifications, drawing, and designs are in accordance with applicable contract specifications. Advanced skillsets in Solidworks, PDM, ACAD/CADWORX as well as related Microsoft Office applications. ~ Proven ability to provide high quality drawings on a timely manner. ~ Bonus potential depending on individual and company performance.
