Mechanical Project ManagerHalifax, NSAre you an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual looking for a new opportunity with an exciting company?Our client in the HVAC industry is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Halifax. The Mechanical Project Manager will coordinate and manage all aspects of mechanical construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. They will collaborate with internal teams and with external stakeholders, conduct site visits, and monitor project progress to ensure project requirements are met. They will use their technical expertise to implement effective project management techniques, and to ensure accuracy of drawings, blueprints, and schematics. The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, as well as experience in a Project Management role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and controls is necessary to be successful in this role. Previous experience with construction drawings and blueprints, as well as with various BIM software is required. Excellent organizational, time management, problem solving, and communications skills are also required.
