Title: Mechanical Designer Engineer
Location: Lloydminster, Central Alberta
Salary: $110k-$138k (Depending on Experience)

Summary:
Our client is currently looking for a project manager/mechanical engineer who has experience in the building industry to come and join their growing team! They are a well established firm, involved in different industries in western Canada. This role has great growth potential, and catapult your professional journey to a new level.

Responsibilities:
- Be involved withpreliminary design and engineering duties
- Prepare detailed design calculations, layouts, and reports.
- Partner with other disciplinesto come up with solutions to complex issues to meet clients' needs
- Mentor junior staff
- Take a lead within projects to ensure timelines
- Be involved in all aspects of projects - contractors, subcontractors, site visit, and client facing responsibilities
- Have an excellent sense of urgency, able to meet tight deadlines, and problem solve unexpected challenges.
- Be involved with business development, and build client relationships
Requirements:
- Registered or eligible for registration with APEGA and APEGS.
- Self-motivated and organized with strong management skills
- Analytically inclinedwith a strong sense of problem solving
- Familiar with industry standards and codes.
- Able to work independently and with a team environment
- Effective communication witha proficiency to convey ideas both written and verbal
