Thinkpath Engineering Services is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work onsite at a customer located in Peterborough, Ontario. This will initially be a 6 month contract, with a strong possibility of going direct following the contract.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from Mechanical Technology program or Engineering Degree
- 1-2 years of experience creating parts, assemblies and detail drawings with UG NX or SolidWorks
- Experience applying positional GD&T on detail drawings
- Organized team player that can work independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Must be able to get CGP/Reliability clearance (Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident, minimum of 5 years in Canada)

CAD Services: Includes parametric modeling, detailing, incorporation of ECNs into existing designs, BOM development, and conversion services between various CAD packages.
Technical Documentation: TES technical documentation team has the ability to author documents, incorporate engineering changes into existing documents, create illustrations and produce animations.
Contract and Direct Placement: Technical placement of engineers, designers, drafters, as well as additional technical professionals in various industries.
