We’re on the lookout for a talented individual to join an ambitious and unique Engineering Solutions provider, where innovation meets expertise!As the Mechanical Designer, you’ll be the backbone of their engineering endeavours, crafting intricate designs and drawing packages for custom manufacturing equipment. From conceptual sketches to detailed manufacturing drawings, you’ll ensure precision and excellence every step of the way.Responsibilities:Engineer innovative solutions for bulk transport systems.Design and produce 3D models for proposed equipment solutions.Create detailed 2D CAD drawings for plant layouts and equipment designs.Collaborate with suppliers to incorporate drawings into models.Develop detailed Bill of Materials and conduct necessary calculations.Uphold safety standards within designs and installations.Participate in site surveys and field measurements.Apply Design for Manufacturing/Assembly methodologies.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.Requirements:Degree in Engineering or equivalent field.5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience.Experience in machine design, preferably in food, beverage, agri, or dairy industries.Familiarity with stainless steel and sanitary design.Proficiency in Solidworks/Inventor 3D modeling and Autodesk AutoCAD 2D.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Fluency in English; French and/or Portuguese proficiency is a plus.Ability to work onsite in Woodbridge, ON.Don’t miss this opportunity to shape the future of manufacturing equipment!
