M&E Coordinator for one of the fastest growing General Contractors in Ottawa working on large institutional and residential projects. ABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client is a family-owned business that has been operational for over 50 years. The company is multi faceted with a Building, Civil and Mining division. This position is for their Building division which includes large scale institutional projects and high-rise residential buildings.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThis general contractor has recently won a mega industrial project in Ottawa that will be a billion-dollar project and will last over 10 years. The company has also landed a lot of other projects recently including some large scale institutional and high-rise residential projects. The ideal candidate will be moved onto the job in which they are most suited and will be reporting to a Project Manager.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe duties for the M&E Coordinator include the following:Planning and organizing mechanical and electrical subtrades on site.Planning and schedulingManaging contracts, documentation and change orders.Hands on approach in pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.Assist in reviewing mechanical and electrical scope during proposal and bids. Assist in project commissioning and close out THE REQUIREMENTS3+ years as an M&E CoordinatorExperience working on institutional and residential high-rise projects an asset.BA in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringLEED accreditation an assetAbility to work from site full time.COMPENSATION$85,000 - $125,000 DOEMedical and Dental benefitsRRSP matching up to 5%HOW TO APPLY Please apply directly to this posting with the most recent version of your resume.
