Title: MCP Frontend & IDE Specialist
Start Date: Immediate

Location: Remote across Canada/ USA
Role Overview
We are seeking an MCP Frontend & IDE Specialist who can bridge AI-powered MCP services with intuitive developer experiences. This role focuses on building frontends, dashboards, and IDE integrations (e.g., VS Code, JetBrains) that bring the power of MCP into the hands of developers and enterprise users. You will collaborate with backend and AI/ML teams to ensure frictionless, secure, and elegant user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build MCP-powered frontends including dashboards, portals, and web-based control panels.
- Develop IDE extensions/plugins (VS Code, JetBrains, Eclipse) that consume MCP services.
- Design seamless developer workflows integrating MCP with coding assistants, debugging tools, and context-aware search.
- Create visualization and interaction layers for MCP outputs (structured data, RAG responses, workflows).
- Ensure UI/UX consistency and accessibility across multi-tenant enterprise environments.
- Partner with product, AI/ML, and Cloud teams to align MCP frontends with Intuitive’s Superpowers.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience developing frontends that integrate with protocol-based backends.
- Hands-on experience creating IDE plugins/extensions (VS Code API, JetBrains SDK).
- Familiarity with MCP integration patterns and AI/ML-assisted developer tooling.
- Solid understanding of UX design principles and developer workflows.
- Experience with API consumption, WebSockets, and real-time interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Contributions to IDE ecosystem tools or open-source AI integrations.
- Experience designing AI copilots or context-aware assistants.
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade frontend security (SSO, OAuth2, RBAC).
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Recharts, Plotly).
