HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in the Aurora area who needs to hire a Materials Manager. To be considered, you will need work experience working for an automotive manufacturing company and have experience as a Materials Manager. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a Materials Manager while being employed with an automotive manufacturing company
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides leadership both the materials and purchasing departments
- Manages all aspects of supply chain from RFQ to receipt of goods
- Manages the procurement process for materials, goods, supplies & services
- Manage and co-ordinate shipping, receiving, inventory control, scheduling, purchasing, container management and logistics
- Develops capacity plans and reviews utilization, makes recommendations
- Responsible for scrap steel recovery system
- Responsible for supplier performance reporting as well as KPI’s for Materials and Purchasing and BOM Routing
- Attend APQP meetings as related to Purchasing and Materials responsibilities
