We are now looking for a Materials & Manufacturing Planning Manager to join our team in Burnfoot, Co. Donegal, Ireland!

What kind of work will you be doing?

  1. Develop a consistent capacity & material planning for factories to match demand in the long term.
  2. Participating in long-range planning and budget preparation.
  3. Facilitate individual LOB Feedback to SI&OP (operations side).
  4. Prepare Executive SI&OP feedbacks.
  5. Work closely with business partners (market, manufacturing, finance, procurement) as well as customers and suppliers to meet or exceed customer needs.
  6. Drive the escalation process in case of critical issues linked to availability or cash flow.
  7. Ensure that metrics are understood by all members of the value stream and results are maintained and displayed on a timely basis.
  8. Optimize standard system setup to structurally and continuously improve results.
  9. Ensure continuous improvement activities and identify possible synergies with factory organization.
  10. Support talent management process (selection, development, and career path).
  11. Ensure team spirit, good team-working environment, conflict negotiation, individual and group communication.
  12. Ensure appropriate development, training, and coaching for the direct reports.
  13. Provide leadership and mentorship to the entire team.
  14. Ensure communication of vision and strategy for his area of responsibility above and below within the organization.

KPI responsibility:

  1. On-Time delivery on Promise / on Request
  2. Factory lead time Schedule adherence / Planning stability
  3. Inventory Turn-Over
  4. Factory occupation

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • BS degree, Engineering or Business Management.
  • 5+ years experience in Operations Planning, ideally in a supervisory or management capacity
  • Availability to travel and working time flexibility, in an international environment
  • Good knowledge of Oracle architecture and planning tools (Cyberplan)
  • Good knowledge of standard software tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • English – fluent level – written and spoken
  • A high level of motivation combined with leadership abilities is required
