Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.We are looking for a Master Planner to join our client based in Boucherville in sales department, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager.Responsibilities :- Be responsible for the S&OP process;- Follow-up with sales managers to obtain a sales forecast, and with the marketing team to obtain a sales forecast for promotional products or existing promotional products;- Maintain the sales forecast database for all product sales activities (launches, discounts, trends).Production planning :- Maintain a production plan based on a combination of sales forecasts and firm orders;- Ensure inventory availability;- Keep ERP system up to date;- Smooth out production and communicate stock shortages.Production scheduling :- Produce and maintain a production schedule, taking into account various constraints;- Issue and make available work orders within prescribed deadlines;- Continuously monitor deviations that may occur during production;- Communicate schedule changes to the various parties involved;- Plan and schedule test ton requests;Skills required:- Bachelor's degree in operations and logistics management or equivalent.- 3-5 years in a similar position- Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the supply chain and logistics- Knowledge and mastery of problem-solving techniques- Knowledge and mastery of inventory management principles- Knowledge and mastery of MRP/ERP-style integrated management systems
