You will start to learn about actionable insights through quantitative analysis, innovative thinking, and your growing industry knowledge. You will use your newly developed analytic and technical knowledge to design, produce, automate and evolve data management, audience data and campaign reporting. You will be a proactive collaborator in insight generation and evolution of advertising programs that are proven to drive business results. Team Operations Collaboration: Connect across planning, investment, and technology teams on the management of dataSelf-Management: Manage day-to-day tasks, ensuring understanding of proper prioritiesMeasurement & ReportingResearch: With support, manage all stages of brand research studies, including: research testing proposals, survey design, operational execution, analysis and reportingData Analysis: Collaborate with partner teams to collect survey inputs (e.g., key business questions, assumptions, potential initiative ideas) so you can ensure the research study is designed to generate findings that will help inform strategic decisionsMeasurement: Learn and apply the basics of measurement strategies, frameworks and technologyBenchmarks & Goals: Learn the basics of setting benchmarks and targets based on historical campaign dataReporting & Optimization: Produce campaign reports and analyses according to measurement plansData Strategy & Technology Data Technology Utilization: Learn basics and rational of analysis automation and begin to identify opportunities to automate analyses and identify processes for efficienciesData Management: Learn how to develop SQL procedures, maintenance and QA of data systems and processes used for audience data or reporting and on-going data analysisData Visualization: Begin development of Dashboards in visualization tools such as Tableau/QlikView/LookerAd Operations: Learn and manage the basics of Ad Operations and QA of data collectionAudience Discovery & StrategyData Analysis: Learn the basics of audience data, and how it applies to audience insight analysis across multiple data sourcesData Analysis Management: Structure data in efficient manners for performing analysisDesired Experience: Research Knowledge: Familiarity with conducting research and/or syndicated research data sourcesAnalytic Mindset and Creativity: Ability to creatively problem solveCross-Channel Analytics: Working understanding of offline and online channel KPIsStructured analysis/statistical understanding: Experience structuring data for analysisMedia Foundations: Basics of digital and offline mediaDesired Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint are a mustProficiency with cross-media brand lift research (Kantar, Lucid, etc.) are strongly preferredFamiliarity withAd-serving and web analytics tools (DCM, DV360, IAS/Moat, Facebook Advanced Analytics, Google ADH, Google Analytics, Adobe, etc.)Syndicated research sources/tools (Gfk, MRI, Simmons, Scarborough, IMS, Nielsen, comScore)Experience and application of one of the following conceptsData visualization: tools such as Tableau, Datorama, AlteryxAdvanced analytics software packages: SQL, R, Python or otherConcepts of database design and SQLRequirements: Experience: 1-2 year of experience through internships or jobs in marketing or media analytics and/or a masters degree in Analytics with no experienceAnalytic Capabilities: Ability to think logically and use quantitative techniques to support solving problems such as campaign analysis, optimization, customer segmentation, data management, data operations and/or predictive modelingEducation: Bachelor’s degree in math, economics, engineering, social sciences, finance, analytical fine arts, or business/marketing fieldsQualities (in order of priority): Curiosity and Forward Thinking – A natural and persistent inclination to explore, discover, and learn, and a general fascination with analytics.
