We hope that you will share this mission withus.As the Marketing Lead, Travel Vaccines, you will spearhead thedevelopment and implementation of Bavarian Nordic’s portfoliostrategy for travel health vaccines. Your role encompasses comprehensiveoversight of product marketing for rabies, typhoid, and cholera as well asprepare for the Chikungunya vaccine launch within the Canadianorganization. Primary responsibilities include supporting the developmentand implementation of the travel health marketing plan, serving as apivotal partner to Sales, ensuring consistency in portfolio and brand-levelmessaging, compliance with promotional activities, and gathering insightsfor the enhancement or establishment of new marketing programs. This rolewill also have a dotted line to the US Marketing team to achieve BavarianNordic’s goals.Your ResponsibilitiesLeading the strategic planning and brand planning processes for thetravel health portfolioDeveloping and aligning strategic imperatives and key programs withcross-functional partners to maximize commercial opportunities forRabAvert, Vivotif, and VaxchoraIdentifying potential strategic partnerships, including key accounts,stakeholder groups, and advocacy initiatives related to travel healthleadership. Collaborating with partners to develop and execute joint plansto achieve portfolio and brand objectivesLeading the development of a communications strategy andcross-functional activity plan for target segments/customers, coveringprivate-commercial and public-government channels as necessaryDeveloping and overseeing the execution of marketing tactics across allchannels and media, ensuring approval through appropriate copy-clearancecommittees and adherence to SOPs on promotional materialsManaging relationships with advertising agencies, providing feedback oncopy and creatives consistent with the brand promise and strategyMonitoring short- and long-term market trends affecting the brand andcontinuously identifying opportunities and gaps to inform strategic andtactical brand plansDeveloping KPIs and measuring the impact of programs on revenue (ROI)and other objectivesCollaborating with the Sales Team to optimize sales tools and programs,ensuring alignment with business objectivesDriving trade show and congress execution, collaborating with the salesteam and external agencies on booth development, logistics, key customerevents, symposiums, product presentations, etc.Collaborating with the sales team to monitor competitive intelligenceand competitor activities, making appropriate recommendations asneededSupporting other brands in the portfolio and related marketing tasksand activities as requiredSkills & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Life Sciences orBusiness/Marketing At least 7 years working experience in Commercial in thepharmaceutical / healthcare industry; 5 years working experience inMarketing or Sales roles Vaccines marketing, sales, sales training, sales operations experiencepreferred Healthcare consulting, market access and sales operations experience aplus Willingness to travel, as neededLocation:Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, NewBrunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.We offerA chance to work in an international company with uniquetechnology and a dedicated workforce.
