As the company gears up for substantial growth, they are seeking a visionary Marketing Director to lead its brand into a dynamic and innovative future.As the Marketing Director, you will spearhead the transformation of Weldco’s brand identity and drive marketing strategies forward. Your mission will be to transition the brand to progressive and compelling, fostering a recognizable and trusted identity that clients want to engage with while maintaining a strong connection with Weldco’s existing clientele.This role demands a balance of independence and collaboration, creativity, and technical acumen, aimed at enhancing Weldco’s market presence and supporting the sales team in creating effective customer engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that redefines Weldco's brand image.Create and execute effective marketing campaigns that speak directly to Weldco’s audience without overwhelming them with technical jargon.Optimize Weldco’s digital presence, including website management and SEO enhancements.Oversee the production of marketing collateral and digital content that communicates the essence of Weldco.Manage social media strategies to boost visibility and engagement.Collaborate closely with the IT team to leverage technological tools that enhance marketing efforts.Support the sales team in creating a strategy and vision that will inspire potential customers.Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing department.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing leadership roles, preferably in machinery manufacturing or related industries.Demonstrable success in brand transformation projects.Strong understanding of customer personas and the ability to tailor marketing strategies accordingly.Experience with digital marketing techniques, including SEO, social media management, and content creation.Knowledge & SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts easily.High level of creativity coupled with strategic thinking.Ability to work independently and make decisive, effective judgments.Strong collaborative skills and a history of successful partnerships, particularly with technical teams.Understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior in machinery manufacturing or similar industries.Application Process with Pender & Howe Executive SearchWeldco-Beales Manufacturing has retained Pender & Howe Executive Search to lead the recruitment initiative for their Marketing Director position.Pender & Howe Executive Search is a boutique firm specializing in executive and board searches, along with strategic advisory services.
