Job Description

Role and Objectives:The Marketing Coordinator, under the direction of the Sales Manager, is responsible for the preparation of marketing proposals and support materials based on input from Project Managers. The Marketing Coordinator will provide market research, strategy and creative assistance where applicable. As a Marketing Coordinator, this position will act in a supporting role for the sales department. This role does not hold responsibilities for the creation of proposal leads.Responsibilities:Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.Create and update marketing and promotional materialsCoordinate client eventsIn coordination with third party, Maintain and update company website. Develop SEO strategiesIn coordination with third party, manage internal/external communications planConduct market research as requestedDetermine needs and expectations of target market as directedProvide inputs on designs that identify and create interest in the productImplement/manage marketing procedures and processes, evaluate existing practice and opportunities for standardizationParticipate in determining the group marketing strategy with sales and product teamsAlign with sales team to engage channel partners, exploring collaboration opportunities and joint marketing programsInitiate and propose positive push and pull activities with the sales teamTrack all marketing initiatives and create weekly/monthly reports as requiredReview branding, positioning of the company to ensure impact and awarenessAssist with Promotional events and materialsMaintain and manage company Branding company wideMaintain and update company specific social media platformsUpdate and maintain company literature and brochuresOrganize project photo ops and project portfoliosSchedule and manage all trade show events and activitiesComply with all company policies and procedures.Other duties as requested or requiredRequirements:University degree in Finance, Business, or Marketing required5 years of direct work experience in a marketing management or consulting capacityExcellent understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand managementKnowledge of the lumber and mass timber industries is preferredSuperior graphic design skills and an eye for aesthetics in presentation materialsHighly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlinesProven ability to prepare marketing proposals with a blend of focused research, strategy and creativity.Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsEnergetic, self-motivated, and results-orientedProven team player who is both flexible and adaptableComputer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and Adobe ProductsSuperb writing, content development and editing skillsA well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skillsWorking Conditions:Travel may be requiredAbility to attend and conduct presentationsManual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripheralsOvertime as requiredLifting or moving up to 10lbs may be requiredCompensation Package:Wage: 70,000.00 – 80,000.00Schedule: Monday – FridayExtended health benefits including health, dental, vision, travel, Health Spending Account and RRSP program.Team building and social events.Training, development, and mentorship opportunitiesOpportunity to advance in your career.Work-life balance.A great culture where we truly value our employees.How to apply:To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter to careers@kalesnikoff.com.Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.At Kalesnikoff, working safely is an expectation.
