Job Description

As our Marketing Assistant / Coordinator, you will support the overall marketing department’s strategies and initiatives while working closely with the Director of Marketing. This is a great opportunity for someone to bring your experience, high energy and organizational skills to drive and help expand our work.A large part of the role is coordinating cross-functional team efforts, assisting other team members by researching events and industry opportunities, managing in-person and online events, distributing sales and marketing materials, and processing invoices. You keep all marketing and sales projects moving. In addition, you will help develop, write, and proof marketing-related content.ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning - planning and logistics for industry eventsEvent Production - provide on and offsite event management, event coordination and production and scheduling, coordinate marketing material requirementsManage and create marketing plans across our fabrication network working with the pricing departmentAssist in the development of integrated marketing and communication plans for our portfolio of brandsManage multiple project timelines, ensuring optimal development and timely delivery of internal and external communications and collateralPost Reporting - complete post-mortems of each event to ensure continuous improvement and optimization, including debriefing sessions, insights on ROI, the preparation of reports, and the closing out all billing details.Actively lead and participate in cross-functional planning meetings - marketing and salesCommunicating - keep staff updated on all marketing-related activitiesIndustry Associations - keep up to speed on industry events and opportunitiesManage invoices and keep track of the marketing budget spendQualificationsEducation background in marketing and event planningHighly organized - you live and die by your "to-do list"A minimum of 7-10 years experience (B2B marketing role preferred)Team player with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous priority projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong oral, written and presentation skillsAbility to meet tight deadlines and take responsibility for the timely and accurate completion of tasksCollaborative, engaged, with highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels in a professional and efficient mannerSkilled in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointSocial media management skills are considered a bonusA valid driver's license and full access to a vehicleA valid passport (ability to travel to the US)
