NVA Canada is looking for Marketing Business Partner to join our Canadian Support Centre team based in Oakville, ON for a maternity leave contract role of 15 months.

The Marketing Business Partner (MBP) will be the primary point of contact for NVA Canada veterinary practices looking for marketing support. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Director and working closely with Operations and Hospital Leadership teams, they will develop clinic and pet owner campaigns, advise hospitals on best marketing practices, oversee NVA Canada internal clinic marketing communications and any related ad hoc requests to support general site marketing needs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maximizing NVA GP North America tools and resources by leveraging existing tools, programs and promotions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Empower our community of practices to grow their individual brands

  • Be the primary advisor for NVA Canada community locations for inbound marketing support and triage in conjunction with MKS team
  • Consult on ad hoc strategic and tactical requests and lead/organize creative where appropriate (e.g. logos, advertisements, brochures, SEM, merchandizing, flyers and other collateral, content calendars, social media, email, websites, etc.)
  • Liaise with L&D, Veterinary Operations, and Events to help develop and execute clinic marketing training resources for their continued brand growth

Partner with NVA Canada practices to reach more pet parents

  • Launch comprehensive, commercial, and pet-centric national growth campaigns to drive organic growth
  • Connect with operations and hospital teams to understand and help build individualized clinic growth plans
  • Develop campaign analytics/measurement and reporting for effective follow-through and decision-making and manage budget, vendors and agency to coordinate logistics and deliverables for all projects

Foster enhanced communication

  • Champion increased, contemporary pet parent communication and engagement for optimal customer service and engagement (e.g. online booking, SMS/email, SEO, SEM).
  • Manage NVA Canada internal communications, intranet, e-newsletters, and other clinic-facing messaging to build community and streamline and organize key messaging
  • Steward mass marketing tool adoption aligned to practice and business priorities
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendor partners to maximize flow of information

What You’ll Bring To NVA Canada

  • 5 years of experience in marketing or agency including demonstrated experience creating and implementing successful marketing plans (traditional and digital)
  • Strong project management, prioritization, organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills
  • Highly proficient with MS Office, social media, web platforms
  • Experience with Canva, ServiceNow, AllyDVM, Vetstoria, Google analytics, e-newsletter tools or clinic PIMS an asset
  • Experience working with veterinary practices and/or small business marketing an asset
