In this role, we’re seeking a CRM expert who is tech savvy, thrives on data-based decisions and gets pumped about developing and optimizing automation campaigns as it relates to the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical, marketing and analytical background. They will own the technical strategy and integrations between the Marketing Automation and CRM platforms, to enable best in class email, SMS and push campaigns.What You'll be Doing:Lead the automation process and tools to enable CRM strategy across leadgeneration, retention, and winback Manage, troubleshoot the data integration between the Marketing AutomationPlatform (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce) Build and maintain lead scoring models to optimize engagement and reduce churnBuild complex customer segmentations to tailor communication throughout customer lifecycle and business objectives Develop and implement journeys, triggers, and campaign logic to ensure relevantcommunications across all channels (email, SMS, push notifications)Maintain data quality across our B2C/B2B database with the support of our Data Team and Salesforce TeamDevelop, implement, track email communications to evaluate and optimize results ofall campaignsIdentify gaps and improvement areas in existing framework and technical implementations Proactively communicate results and best practices to all key stakeholders and house the results in a common hub as key learnings for future reference Desired Skills & Experience:College or university degree in business, marketing, travel and tourism or a related field 8+ years experience working in CRM, marketing operations or marketing automation team, client or agency side Extensive experience in Marketing Automation tools (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc) as it relates data accuracy and completeness Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) Strong analytical skills to interpret data to generate recommendationsExperience in CRM platform migration and implementation project (asset)Proven track record executing with excellence onlead generation, acquisition, conversion, loyalty & retention marketing campaignsExperience with data visualization tools an asset (Looker preferred)Problem solver, ability to test and learn on your own, and stay on top of the latest trends Ensure that all global email communications comply with relevant legislation(CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA, etc) compliance an assetPlease note this is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week required in our Toronto office.What do we offer you?Competitive salary commensurate with the roleCompetitive benefits package Birthday day offVacation time for you to rechargeEnhanced Parental LeaveLearning and growth opportunitiesEmployee Resource Groups*Applicable based on location*G Adventures is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
