About the Role:

AGF is seeking a Marketing Analytics Strategist who will support and propel our teams to gain deeper insights about our customers and our communication strategies. Analytics shouldn’t lead to the right answer, it should lead you to ask deeper questions and inform how you approach your next actions. The right candidate will come with a curious spirit, a passion for good data, and a strong voice to communicate insights and best practices.

The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations, but works closely with Marketing leaders, IT partners and Operations teams to ensure smooth flowing of data and insights.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of marketing data management including: extracting and exploring data, troubleshooting data issues, conducting iterative analysis, and evaluating results
  • Deliver analytical marketing insights that spark conversation and re-evaluation
  • Partner with stakeholders to tell compelling stories about our users and our campaigns
  • Communicate marketing insights broadly and propose next steps to enhance user experience across all touchpoints with the firm
  • Use both visual and technical means to tell compelling stories
Your Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years experience in data analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with demonstrated need to manage data and derive insights
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with data visualization and design best practices
  • A self-starter with a curious disposition
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce and Seismic an asset
  • Proficiency with Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent, SQL, R or Python
  • A good team-player, able to balance priorities from different parts of the organization
  • Effective relationship builder
  • Capability with Microsoft 365, including Sharepoint Online
  • Understand data and evidence gathering methods
