Job description:
Position Summary: The qualified individual will be responsible for various aspects of product assembly and testing. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to assemble and use complex instruments and assemblies. Some of the major areas of responsibility include:
- Visually inspect, assemble, and test cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved assembly procedures.
- Able to follow all work instructions and procedures and record all production information as required.
- Ability to use a computer to perform tests, download information, or record test data.
- Ability to work with a microscope for extended periods of time.
- Able to use and maintain hand tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test cartridges.
- Good hand-eye coordination, stable hands for delicate component assembly.
- Comply with gowning protocols as required and maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (written and oral).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) Columns or microfluidics assembly a plus.
- Experience in Electronic or Medical device assembly a plus.
