We are currently seeking a permanent Manufacturing Chemical Engineer to join our Mining Client in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a full-time in person position offering comprehensive benefits and more.Responsibilities:The successful individual will provide technical support for explosive material production.Your role involves enhancing capital and non-capital projects by emphasizing reliability,cost-effectiveness, quality and operability. You contribute to long-term sustainability andplant improvement by collaborating with engineering, production and maintenance teams.As part of your role, you collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues as theyarise. Additionally, you proactively identify areas for improvement and focus on optimizingnew solutions for maximum impact. Your expertise extends to identifying opportunitiesrelated to reliability, operability, raw material yields, capacity, energy efficiency, productquality, safety and environmental considerations.In this role you will continue to hone your skills including but not limited to: 1. Project Management 2. Process Engineering/Process Safety Management/Chemical Manufacturing/ Reactive Chemistry 3. Equipment Troubleshooting/ Equipment Reliability 4. Continuous ImprovementRequirements:B.S. Chemical Engineering degree OR equivalent degreeKnowledge of process control systemsExperience with chemical manufacturing equipment is a plus.Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suiteAbility to work in a manufacturing environment, including ascending and descending stairsand ladders.Strong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of problem-solving skills and great decision making abilitiesMulti-tasking multiple assignmentsAlways ensuring safety is priority
