- Hire,train, and assess the performance ofworkers
- Setproduction goals and devise a strategy to achievethem.
- Maintainthe productionschedule.
- Ensure thatthe products meet qualitystandards.
- Produceproductionreports.
- Analyzeproduction data to improveefficiency.
- Control thelayout of equipment and the flow ofmaterials.
- Ensure thatworkers and equipment meet performance and safetystandards.
- Keep an eyeout for hiccups in the process and look for ways toimproveoperations.
- Employeesshould be supervised and giventasks.
- Communicatewith other departments, such as the financialdepartment to create budgets, the human resourcesdepartment to hire new employees, and the logisticsdepartment to ensure product delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor'sdegree in manufacturing, business, or engineering ispreferred.
- Prior experience inmanagement or manufacturing is preferred.
- Excellentcommunication and organizational abilities
- Excellentinterpersonal and team-building abilities.
- Strong leadershipabilities and the ability to manage members ofcross-functional teams.
- Manufacturingtechnical competencies (e.g., technical drawings, blueprints,CAD/CAM)
- Knowledge ofMicrosoft Excel and other industry software.

Salary: $42.05 -$80.22 per hour
