We strive to offer a supportive, inclusive and nurturing environment that helps our employees expand their careers and reach their highest potential.Summary:As Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with other departments to launch new products, executing productivity projects with the desired costs, quality, and efficiency.What Youll Do:Be responsible for leading, planning, directing, and coordinating the development and execution of manufacturing system strategic objectives. Assures that all quality requirements, engineering testing requirements & standards are included in all work and/or working instructions, testing procedures and other documentations.Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production to investigate root cause and come up with correction, corrective actions, and preventive actions. Provide training, coaching, and mentoring on junior team member & develop cross-functional project leadership talent. Lead cross-functional team to drive cost reduction during product life cycle.Recommend product changes/improvements to Design Engineers based upon PFMEA’s and manufacturability, determine effectivity of changes and assure compliance to such. Observe/monitor new technologies, competitors, industry trends and report to management.Participate in early new product development activities as Operations Management Representative; ensure Design for Manufacturability and cost effective.Support necessary personnel for internal, customer and third-party quality system audits.Support customer quotation and technical inquire.Occasionally business travel.Other duties as assigned.What Youll Bring:Completion of a Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent3-5 years Manufacturing Engineering experience in a low volume, high-mix manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Solid knowledge in hardware/software test or validation methodology and proficient documentation capability, including test report, RCA (Root cause analysis) etc. Good experience of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA) is an assetGood knowledge of ERP software, BOM structures, routings, Engineering Change process and non-conforming process.Project management/coordination experience is an asset.
