Global Atlantic Financial Group, Inc. has a unique opportunity for a highly motivated energetic individual interested in continued career growth to join our team as a Managing Director, Preneed Sales Division that leads a sales team that carry out sales activities and have a national footprint. The Managing Director reports to the President of Individual Markets. 

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Managing Director of the Preneed Division plays a critical role in establishing and maintaining strong business relationships within the KKR/GA organization as well as with our national account firms, third party organizations and strategic independent accounts. This position is responsible for all aspects of managing the Preneed division’s growth in accordance with the organizational strategy.

This position will ensure business growth through directing and managing active sales accounts to ensure they are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.

  • Provides vision and leadership to the Preneed sales organization.
  • Develops the overall Preneed sales strategy and processes that drive revenue growth while accomplishing company financial objectives.
  • Sets Preneed initiatives, sales targets, and variable incentive compensation plans.
  • Uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
  • Creates capabilities to effectively analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors and retain and expand the customer base.
  • Identify market needs and innovate new products.
  • Build effective sales teams with recruiting, mentoring and development programs.
  • Lead or participate in negotiating strategic or high value sales agreements.
  • Executes multiple high impact initiatives to achieve overall corporate goals.
  • Develop relationships with vendors and clients to cultivate existing business relationships and identify new ones.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ Years of experience in a managerial or executive sales role, preferably in the Death Care Industry.
  • Strong experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Demonstrates broad understanding of financial management principles to direct organizational actions.
  • Solid understanding of business functions (Operations, Finance, Legal/Compliance, etc.) and a strong partnership mindset
  • Demonstrable ability and proven record in strategy-building, implementation, and sales success.
  • Robust working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making abilities and leadership skills.
  • Corporate culture carrier and influencer.
  • Required travel of  6 to 12 ( 60% - 70%) nights per month, depending on where person resides.

This is a remote position working out of your home office with frequent travel throughout the US.

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. 

The base salary range for this role is

$149,000 — $284,500 USD

Global Atlantic reserves the right to modify the qualifications and requirements for this position to accommodate business needs and regulatory changes. Future adjustments may include obtaining specific licenses or certifications to comply with operational needs and conform to applicable industry-specific regulatory requirements, state and federal laws.
