As a trusted advisor, you will play a critical role in building the HR practice and more importantly define the culture for our most important asset – our team members!

This is a full-time (in-person) role at our Toronto, ON HQ.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:


  • Assist with the recruitment process, on/off-boarding, drafting employee agreements and assisting with interviews, as necessary.
  • Manage day-to-day administration tasks including time management, maintain employee files and appropriate HR actions in our HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with employment standards legislation and company policies.
  • Oversee, maintain, and distribute employee health benefits plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to manage the entire onboarding and offboarding lifecycle.
  • Process and lead payroll activities for our teams across North America.
  • Complete reference and criminal background checks for new hires.
  • Manage key relationships with post-secondary institutions to coordinate company recruitment.
  • Champion all social committee initiatives across the business for Friday lunches, happy hour, birthdays, anniversaries, company events and more to drive employee experience.


SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:


  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in People and Culture, IT recruitment or similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology/Professional Services industry is required.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and related tools.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Open to travel (approx. 25%).
