As a Manager, Strategy, Insights & Finance, you will be responsible for supporting strategy development, generating actionable business insights, and providing financial perspective to enable and propel Mydoh forward. You will have the opportunity to own key initiatives and projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while working with a passionate and collaborative team in addressing a significant societal problem. What will you do? The role will consist of 3 pillars – Strategy, Insights, and Strategic Finance Participate in market sizing, competitive landscape assessment, and valuation activities to drive both short-term and long-term business strategy Synthesize findings from research, data analysis, and financial modelling to formulate perspective to inform key strategic initiatives Support business casing of cross-functional projects and initiatives, and provide actionable recommendations and perspective to functional leaders Participate in iterative enterprise value modeling and identification of stakeholder partnership opportunities Contribute to ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting of the business outcomes and OKRs. The incumbent will need to recognize trends, determine strategy effectiveness, and provide recommendations for further enhancements. Contribute to identification and exploration of incremental and net new topline revenue opportunities Insights Play active role in facilitating the organization’s analytical maturity and data driven decision-making practices, by making existing data more digestible Work closely with centralized analytics team in guiding analyses and outcomes to better understand user behaviors generate actionable insights for the business Drive the iterative process of conversions and value mapping to optimality, across both Mydoh and the RBC enterprise Strategic Finance Support business growth through financial modeling of business initiatives, and deconstructing down to individual performance drivers, such as unit economics, topline revenue, and cost levers across scenario analyses. Understand and manage business outcomes through the calibration and adjustment of each performance driver. Play an active role in preparing annual financial plans, forecasts, 5 year outlooks, and other schedules as required. Collaborate, engage, and advise functional leaders in doing so. Review monthly financial results prepared by Financial Operations and Tech finance teams, and investigate variances to forecast. Proactively identify P&L optimization opportunities. What do you need to succeed? Must Haves 4+ years of experience in strategy development, financial planning / modeling, or business analysis Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize information from multiple sources, and make recommendations Experience in making data-driven, evidence-based decisions to drive business and financial outcomes Ability to push the envelope and think outside the box, and distill complex technical topics into digestible formats for leadership Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to articulate a compelling business case to senior management. University degree preferably in a quantitative field of study (e.g. economics, business, math). Entrepreneurial and ownership mindset – comfort in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Nice-to-Haves Background in fintech / tech Quantitative skills or designation such as CPA, CFA, CBV Experience with data manipulation and analytics tools (e.g. Teradata, SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.) or deep understanding of data analytics practices, attributes and outcomes Experience working in complex matrix organizations working with multiple stakeholders What’s in it for you?
