The Telesat Lightspeed Manager of Program Schedule, Milestone Completion, & Risk will help drive the Telesat Lightspeed Program by coordinating information, providing support through data analysis, and contributing to overall strategy and performance evaluation of the program. You will be responsible for program reporting and monitoring in relation to schedule and risk management.
The Lightspeed Program Management Office is part of the Program Delivery team and helps to drive the Lightspeed Program by coordinating project schedules into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), conducting program analytics, risk reviews, and multi dimensional reporting thus contributing to the overall strategic development and performance evaluation of complex program operations.
Since Telesat Lightspeed operates as a matrix organization, the Manager will need to work with segment managers within the engineering groups who do not report directly to them. The Manager of Program Schedule, Milestone Completion, & Risk will have a team of Program Analysts, and Program Schedulers who will interface with the engineering project managers and manage the project data in the IMS in accordance with the established Lightspeed standards.
The manager will be responsible for leading your team in developing and maturing program/project control systems, ensuring procedures are well documented and training has been developed for the larger Lightspeed team.
