Home Concierge is a fast-paced organization with aggressive growth targets, this role is best suited towards execution-first, growth-minded, entrepreneurial leaders who don’t mind rolling up their sleeves to problem solve, challenge conventional thinking, and leverage best practices to support expansion into new markets.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Vice President Operations, the ideal person has a strong background in Financial Planning and Analysis and a passion for assessing business performance through operational and financial metrics. They are committed to developing a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will build strong cross functional relationships with the Finance, Operations, Sales, and People Development groups to understand the needs of these business lines, how they measure success, and how their success generates value for the organization. This person is a self-motivated CPA. A deadline driven professional with strong attention to detail, dedicated to delivering exceptional service while demonstrating a strong bias for action and keen attention to detail.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Seeks to continuously improve annual budget/plan process to reduce compilation time
  • Executes annual budget process considering both top down and bottom-up points of view
  • Creates a holistic forecasting process and drives the creation of a forecast model in our planning system which includes ability to execute scenario planning

Business Performance

  • Leads the creation and implementation of tools to identify, measure, and analyze lead and lag performance metrics
  • Create a sustainable process for identifying the need for dashboards and streamline creation to match operational needs
  • Create a business performance mindset and support the development of an analytical mindset in the Finance Operations team
  • Ensure that monthly packages are prepared accurately and delivered on time

Partner Reporting

  • Automate the monthly partner reporting process to eliminate manual efforts to generate reporting, and reduce time to deliver operational commentary
  • Build relationships with cross functional partners to create a holistic partner reporting process which considers the stage of the operating unit and needs of partners

People Management

  • Lead the payroll and AP / AR team on a day-to-day basis
  • Participate in the month-end, quarterly, and annual prep and review process, ensuring financial responsibility among the organization
  • Provide opportunity for growth and development including stretch assignments

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus on Accounting/Finance and 4+ years finance experience
  • Advanced professional degree in a discipline that teaches quantitative analysis and critical thinking (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, MBA)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with and analyze large datasets
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial modelling skills, high level attention to detail and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communicator – can synthesize ideas and thinking for sharing with others
  • Practiced leader– able to inspire others to action – both direct subordinates and peers
  • Project management skills– can manage projects spanning multiple departments/stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strong bias for action
  • Excellent time management
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
