Description Under the direction of National Maintenance Manager (MHE), the Maintenance Manager manages all daily activities of employees and contractors by ensuring reliable and safe material handling equipment in a cost effective manner. They will ensure all Preventative Maintenance work and repairs are completed safely, timely, and cost effectively to the Purolator MHE equipment. The Maintenance Manager leads our maintenance systems, oversees the continuous improvement of our equipment, as well as all operations of the maintenance department. The Manager ensures that the team has the best physical resources and tools available to complete their duties according to budget.  Responsibilities Ensure adequate maintenance of all MHE and ensuring 100 % uptime and availability Ensure appropriate development and supervision of a team of employees within the maintenance department (skilled tradespersons)  Develop and implement maintenance standards and procedures  Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues  Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance Manage relationships with contractors and service providers  Maintain required maintenance logs and reporting on daily activities Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and regulations Education University Graduation in Specialized or Occupational Field Knowledge gained applied directly to work, 4 years plus professional designation Experience 7 years of progressive experience managing maintenance teams Skills Safety ManagementMaterials HandlingLeadershipProcess Management POSTING DETAILS Location: 541 - Richmond Working Conditions: Office Environment  Posting Number: 64757  Reports to: Senior Manager Material Handling and Equipment Maintenance National
