Job Description

  • Manage, execute and monitor end to end Talent Acquisition (Recruitment) day-to-day activities in order to achieve the Department’s and/or Company’s KPIs and to ensure its activities are compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure manpower planning are monitored and tracked accordingly within approved manpower budget as well as to ensure manpower report and its analysis are produced accurately and timely as per the Company’s timeline.
  • Manage onboard of expatriates and hiring of foreign workers including renewal of EP/visa and dealing with the Government authorities and relevant agency.
  • Manage, execute, and monitor Learning & Development (Training) day-to-day activities in order to achieve the Department’s and/or Company’s KPIs and to ensure its activities are compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the Performance Management Systems/Appraisal Systems and execute its initiative as per the Global Direction and/or Company’s Plan.
  • Participate in the Compensation and Benchmarking study as and when assigned by the HOD to ensure overall total rewards are competitive.
  • Participate in the Compensation exercise (i.e increment, Bonus, promotions) as and when assigned by the HOD.
  • Manage, verify and monitor overall payroll data accuracy and timeliness including statutory payments and other related payroll activities.
  • Administer and manage day-to-day employees disciplinary related issues, industrial relations including the Union related matters.
  • Review and make necessary recommendations to update any changes of HR related policies in line with the labor law and latest Company’s policy.
  • Prepare, recommend, and monitor HR/department expenses budget utilization of the assigned portfolio to ensure it is spent prudently according to the approved budget.
  • Interact and deal effectively with internal (employees) and external stakeholders (vendors, suppliers, agencies, government bodies, etc.,) related to work portfolio.
  • Provide and communicate effectively on any HR related info and advice to internal stakeholders to ensure employees are well informed on the HR related policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource/Business Administration/Social Science or related field from recognized Higher Institution

Experience:

  • At least 5 - 10 years overall HR related experiences preferably in manufacturing industry

Skills & knowledge Required

  • Strong knowledge in employment act and legislation such as Employment Acts, Statutory Acts, IR Act, etc.,
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Training Need Analysis (TNA), Competency Profiling and interviewing techniques
  • Good knowledge in HRDF policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge in conducting job analysis, competency profiling & benchmarking.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good business writing skills both English & Malay
